perft scores
A useful tool for debugging chess programs is to count the total number of
nodes that can be reached from a given position, the so-called "perft"
*performance test) value.
When testing different chess variants, it is useful to have perft results
for these as well, but they are usually hard to find. Below is a collection
of perft results for different variants, as found by Sjaak. These are from
the starting position.
